MHOWriting.com - My New Home

Submitted by Melissa on Sunday, January 20 2008No Comment

This past weekend I registered and created MHOWriting.com.  I have brought over all of the posts from my old blogger.com blog and backdated them.  In the past few days I’ve also published a few new articles at Suite 101.

Uncommon Types of Autism - This article features information on Rett’s Disorder and Childhood Disintegrative Disorder.  These two disorders fall under the umbrella of pervasive developmental disorders.

Raising Autism Awareness - This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart.  With diagnostic rates at 1 in 150 children in the United States it is amazing how many people don’t know a thing about autism or everything that they know is incorrect.  My goal is to increase autism awareness

Valentine’s Day for Singles - I’m not single but I was for many, many years.  I didn’t enjoy the day and had I thought about it I would have taken the day to focus on ME!  Here are some great Valentine’s ideas for those that are single on this typical couples-only holiday.

My writing has slowed down because my schooling is taking up a big chunk of my time.  In addition I was also commissioned to write a luxury travel article for a print publication.  Islander Magazine is a monthly magazine with a distribution of 240,000 copies to various communities on Long Island in New York.  I highlighted two destination spas located in Sedona, Arizona.  I figured the readers snowed in in New York might be interested in a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway in beautiful Sedona.  Once I receive a copy of the magazine I’ll post a portion of the article up here at MHOWriting.com.
